Finally, I came upon Frey Automotive's website and found the car that I ended up purchasing. The car's description and photos made it extremely easy to see that this car was an exact match! I drove up to the dealership to meet JJ for a test drive and to talk about the car. I've only purchased 2 other vehicles in my life, but this was the most hassle free purchase I've made. We both were able to agree to an honest price for the car (and the price was on the low end of market value, which made the deal extra good for me knowing I didn't get ripped off). I came back for the car the next weekend once finances were in place and the car has been perfect ever since!

I bought a 2013 truck truck from Frey I worked with JJ for the sale,.The price was the best I found in the area I drove 150 miles to buy the truck. JJ worked with me and made the sale smooth and hassle free for me. about a week later I was checking tire presser and noticed that one of the tires was mismatched and the wrong size. I called JJ on the issue and We looked for a tire that could replace the wrong tire. He ended up writing me a check to buy a new tire. I was a little disappointed that the problem was not caught before the truck was sold. On the other hand I am very happy with the service and honesty that I received as a customer. Glad to do business with Frey automotive and JJ.
Very reasonable prices! I purchased my car there today, very smooth transition from my car to my new car. Salesmen John was very friendly he had everything ready for me to sign, i was in and out in a few minutes. I will definitely recommend Freys Automotive to other people.
I originally left a 5 star review because the price and service at the time was good. However there were issues with getting all the parts for the soft top that eventually got figured out even though I had to pay out of my own pocket for part of what should have been included. Then after less than a month I start having issues with the vehicle. Then I find out that since the vehicle was from Canada the warranties are now void. I was told the vehicles was from Canada but not that it impacted the standard waranty. I had to replace a clock spring for $600, that would have been covered by the warranty. After calling and talking to JJ he said I should have figured out that vehicles from Canada don't carry a warranty anymore. He also refused to do anything about it. Now after only owning the vehicle for 5 months, and putting on a whopping 3k miles,I have to replace both front axel U joints and both of the rear axel seals. Again the front axle U joints could have been covered by warranty if I had one. The shop that I use and trust told me that this did not happen in the last 5 months and was probly like that when I bought it. Be warned get the vehicle checked out elsewhere first before you buy it. Also if it's from Canada even though they don't tell you it has no more warranty in the US.
I had a great experience at Frey Automotive! I live near Naperville, IL and have A LOT of dealers to choose from. I was looking for a used Nissan Leaf with Quick Charge, and all of the dealers near me had a lack of knowledge about this car even though they were trying to sell them. I called several dealers near me to ask about their Nissan Leaf inventory. Most of the dealers didn't know what quick charge was, the photos they posted didn't help verify if the car had it or not, and some of the dealers started sending me emails saying "free oil changes for life" (Nissan Leaf doesn't use oil...).
